At Wolf Candle Co, we believe candles - just like our feline friends—need a little extra care to truly shine. Treat them right  and they’ll reward you with long-lasting glow and cosy cuddles of scent.

1.       Trim That Wick - Trim your wick to about 5mm before each burn. A tidy wick means no black smoke or wild flames - just a clean, even burn that behaves like a good boy.

2.      The First Burn is Impawtant - Let your candle melt to the edge of the jar the first time around (2–3 hours). This helps avoid tunnelling and sets a scent memory, just like your cat claiming your lap forever.

3.      Keep Away from Drafty Cat-astrophes  - Fans, windows, air-con... they all mess with your candle’s vibe. Drafts cause flickering and uneven burning. Give your candle a calm, cosy corner to call its own.

4.     Choose a Paw-fect Surface - Make sure your candle sits on something sturdy, flat and heat-safe. No wobbles, no scorch marks - just pawsitive vibes.

5.      Keep the Wax Pool Fur-Free - Wick trimmings, match bits, or stray cat hair? Nope! A clean wax pool helps the flame stay smooth and drama-free - unlike your cat at 3am. A tidy top means your candle can burn safely and smell as fabulous as it was born to be.

6.     Snuff, Don’t Huff - Blowing out your candle? That’s so last litter. Use a snuffer instead to avoid smoke and wax splatter. It’s the gentle way to say goodnight.

7.     Store It Like a Treat Jar - Keep your candle in a cool, dry spot out of sunlight, with the lid on when not in use - just like hiding the catnip. It keeps the scent fresh and the wax pristine

8.     Safety Fur-st, Always - Never leave your candle burning unattended, and keep it out of reach of curious paws, twitchy tails, and little pouncers. Make sure that wick is trimmed. If things seem off (flame too big or too smokey), extinguish and give it a check.
